New Service - Powder Coating
We’ll, Marcin and I aren’t very good at sitting still so we’re always looking for the next thing to learn. So while we already have the capability for plasma cutting, welding, and fabricating, we figured the next logical step would be to add powder coating to our list of services! So that’s just what we did. A little bit of oven construction and practice later, we are ready to offer powder coating for items we create or ones our customers bring to us. Our oven is just under 10’x10’ so we can handle both large and small pieces.
One of our first powder coating orders was for a box for a big rig. Our customer had a truck in a great bright blue color and a piece of diamond plate aluminum that he wanted powder coated to match. It just took a little bit of searching to find the right color and then we were ready to get started. The piece of diamond plate had been sitting outside for a while so a good clean up was in order. Once that was complete, we were ready to coat. We’ve got before and after pictures below and the customer loved how it turned out!
